The Koinonia Discovery Days Fall 2016 program will take place at Center Street Church (West Campus) in Calgary on November 7, 21, 28 and December 5th, 2016.

Mad Science

(Little Lights:  November 7 and Dec 5; Grades 1-6 - all event days) 
Mad Science will be joining us again this fall!  Students will enjoy hands-on activities and take-home projects.  Topics will include: tower building, investigating the solar system, and an exploration of aerospace engineering. It will be a whirlwind of fun!

Music

Music sessions will focus on gaining musical literacy through singing games and hands-on activities.  Children will be introduced to rhythm and melody concepts based on Kodaly and Orff approaches to learning musical concepts.

Art

Speech sessions will help students gain confidence speaking in front of a small audience and learning to think on their feet. Activities will be focused around topics of interest, games and encourage skill development for effective speaking.
