Swimming Lessons
We are blessed to have been able to partner with the City of Red Deer Recreation, Parks & Culture Department to offer our students the opportunity to be involved in the Swim with School Program. Students in Grades 1-6 can receive six 45-minute swimming sessions at the G.H Dawe Waterpark in Red Deer.

About the event
The cost per student is $35 and can be paid by e-transfer to accounts@koinonia.ca with 'swimming' in the comments field, or by calling the school office.
Sessions will be held every Monday morning beginning on February 27 and ending on April 3. Please note that a parent is required to stay at the pool during the session. The times in the pool and number of available spots for each age group are:
- Grade 1/2: 9:15 - 10:00am - 18 spots available
- Grade 3/4: 10:00 - 10:45am - 18 spots available
- Grade 5/6: 10:45 - 11:30am - 21 spots available
Available spots for each group are on a first come first served basis. If you are interested in being part of this opportunity, please respond to homelearninginfo@koinonia.ca and we will send you a permission form and information sheet from the pool. Forms need to be received back in the office by February 21st.
