For more than four decades, Koinonia Christian School has partnered with families to provide an education grounded in Christian faith, strong relationships, and a commitment to helping every student grow.

What began as a vision shared by a small group of faithful families has become a thriving educational community serving hundreds of students across Central Alberta. Today, our programs include a full Kindergarten to Grade 12 school, home education, and specialized educational opportunities for students with complex learning needs.

Our purpose has always reached beyond classrooms, courses, and graduation requirements. We want students to know the truth of God’s Word, discover and develop their gifts, and learn to use those gifts in service to others. We are preparing young people not simply to succeed, but to live faithfully as Kingdom citizens who transform, renew, and serve their communities.

That vision is growing—and our present facility can no longer adequately support it.​ Our current building has served us well, but Our school community has reached a significant moment.

The proposed new facility is much more than a larger school.
It is an opportunity to create a place where students can learn deeply, worship together, participate in athletics and the arts, receive the support they need, and develop a strong sense of belonging and relationships can flourish.
We envision a school that will serve not only today’s students but generations yet to come—a place built with purpose, shaped by faith,
