Juan Arias is a Pastor and Campus father. He also serves as a ‘settlement practitioner’, assisting newcomers to the country find their way in Canada and learn about cultural and employment differences here. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Juan and his family love Koinonia and the blessing it is to their education. He is currently serving as the Chairman of the Board.

Michelle Elliot has 2 children in the school. She has frequently stated “If my children don’t go to this school, they don’t’ go to any school”, demonstrating her love and support of KCSRD. She has extensive experience in event planning and fundraising for nonprofit and not for profit organizations, notably the Winter Games Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. She currently serves as the Treasurer for the board.

Conrad Tycholaz and his family have a long history with Koinonia Red Deer – his children are third generation students here! He and his wife have 4 children attending the school, his wife is a teacher in the school as well. Conrad is a commercial mason who operates his own business in the city. He has been on the board for more than 6 years and is passionate about what the school represents to the community.

Shafer Parker is a retired Pastor and has been married to his wife Jeanne for 47 years. He has worked as a journalist with Alberta Report, and currently serves on the board for Faith Beyond Belief. He has long been preaching the need for Christian Education for our children, even when he had public school teachers in his congregation. He recognized long ago that the education system is in direct conflict with the gospel and works to corrupt event the youngest students. He is honored to serve on both the KCSRD and KCES boards, furthering Christian Education for our children.

Chad Paul is a business owner and home ed father. He spends his time and talents restoring troubled businesses to productivity. Chad brings extensive HR and business knowledge to the board, having responsibility for over 600 employees. With a passion for Christ centered Education, Chad has served on the board for 3 years.

David Neufeld is a Pastor and Home Ed father. He and his wife have been in ministry for 18 years; they love ministry, love serving the Lord and His people. They work in their local Community school teaching religious studies and are honored to be speaking the name of Jesus in a setting which is in direct conflict with the gospel. David considers it an honor and a privilege to serve Koinonia Red Deer, championing Christian Education in our God centered school.

Allan Neill is a husband to Paulette, father to four children, and grandfather to 11. Allan came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 9 years old. Allan and Paulette have always been strong believers in Proverbs 3:5&6 –“Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.” It is His desire to see the Education informs our Students of their rich History in the Christian faith and the absolute truth
